I am writing to express my profound dissatisfaction regarding the substandard cleaning services experienced during my recent stay at The Grandview Hotel, in Room 405, from 14th to 21st August 2024 (Booking Reference: GVH24-789).
Upon our arrival, it was immediately apparent that the room had not been thoroughly prepared. We encountered noticeable carpet stains, accumulated dust on surfaces like bedside tables, and an unemptied waste bin in the bathroom. Throughout our week-long stay, these issues persisted; bathroom fixtures exhibited visible soap scum and stray hairs, and essential toiletries were inconsistently replenished. This pervasive lack of cleanliness significantly compromised our comfort and created an unhygienic environment, considerably diminishing the overall enjoyment of our vacation.
Such conditions are unacceptable for a hotel of your reputed standing. To acknowledge this considerable inconvenience and failure to meet basic hospitality standards, I request a partial refund of 25% of our accommodation cost or a substantial voucher for a future stay. I trust you will investigate these matters promptly and take appropriate action to rectify these deficiencies.
